Ekinsu joined the group in September 2022 as a master student. Besides her background on metallurgy, she has a passion for thin films, nanoelectronics, solar cell materials and devices. She likes trekking, off-road biking, cinema and contemporary art.

Kivanc started joined the group in September 2022. He worked on surgical biomaterials in his bachelor project and he is interested in wearable electronics, biomaterials, and nanomaterials. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, attending cultural activities and drawing.

Emmanuele joined the group in September 2022. During his bachelor he got fascinated by materials science, at first by energy harvesting devices but then for a broader range of materials applications. In his free time, he enjoys playing volleyball, working out, listening to podcasts, and traveling.

Suparna joined the group in September 2022. She previously worked on synthesis of hafnia thin films for ferroelectric applications as part of her bachelor's thesis. She has keen interest in nanostructure synthesis and characterization and she enjoys listening to music and reading books in her spare time.

Project: Studying the morphology of printed inorganic thermoelectric films and the interface with their electrical contacts.

Qiyuan is a master student of KU Leuven and her specialisation is Nanomaterials. During her undergraduate, she worked on projects about MOFs and texture analysis. She joined the group as a master student in October 2021. In her spare time, she likes playing guitar, travelling and reading.

Project: 3D printing organic electronic materials and characterization of their thermoelectric behavior.

Jiawei is a master student of materials engineering (Leuven), with nanomaterials as his option. During his bachelor thesis, he did some research based on first-principles calculation. He joined the group from October, 2021. In his spare time, he enjoys doing sports, watching movies, and going travelling.

Project: Exploring 3D Printing of Thermoelectric Materials by Direct Ink Writing.

Pourya is an EIT labeled dual degree master student (University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy) & KU Leuven (Belgium) and recipient of the SUMA scholarship. Previously, he studied and worked as research assistant in the IUT and SUT universities. He joined the group from September 2020. During his leisure time, he enjoys doing sports, analyzing stock market, and computer programming.

Project: Formulation of semiconductor-based pastes for 3D printing thermoelectric energy harvesters.

Eduardo is a recipient of the EIT-labeled SUMA scholarship. During his bachelor thesis he studied OLEDs made with iridium complexes and then decided to start working on thermoelectric materials for his master's thesis. He joined the group as a Master student in September 2020. In his spare time he likes travelling, playing basketball and videogames.

Project: Measuring the electrical properties of anisotropic 3D-printed thermoelectric materials.

During his undergraduate study Farzad worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre of Nanotechnology (Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman), working on semiconductors, 2D Materials and their applications. He won the EIT scholarship for the master program and he joined the group as a master student from October 2020.

Kostadin is a recipient of the EIT-labeled SUMA scholarship. Prior to his graduation, he has done several internships in the field of cement manufacturing, electroless deposition, and solid-state chemistry. He joined the group as a Master student from November, 2019. In his spare time, he enjoys visiting museums, going to the cinema, and reading novels.
